Nutritional Science & Therapy

OMICS Publishing Group runs with a single mission of conducting scientific conferences that provide an invaluable opportunity for the young scientists, post doctoral fellows and professors for learning, networking and exploring new ideas on developments that take place in scientific field.
Nutritional Science-2012 was a special event wherein divergent participants such as nutritionists, nutrition therapists and  health  professionals and  neonatologists, pediatricians, experts in child development & other specialists, nutrition influencers and researchers took part with active interest in the OMICS Publishing Group-staged  “International Conference and Exhibition on Nutritional Science & Therapy” at DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia, USA. , during Aug 27-29, 2012.
The basic aim of the Conference was to create a forum for establishing the foundations of a fresh principled approach to Nutritional Science. This meeting in a great way enabled the participants in exchanging ideas and knowledge on the advancement of research activities in the field of nutrition.
Nutrition science elucidates the relationship between diet and health. Nutritional Science takes up extensive research on the effects of food elements on the metabolic rate, health, and resistance level of human and animals. In addition to this, nutrition science determines the optimal intake of individual nutrients, food groups and specific foods.
Nutritional Science Diet:Diet is the amount of food taken by an individual. Dietary habits and preferences play vital role in the quality of life, health and long life of an individual. Proper nutrition needs intake and absorption of fiber, minerals and vitamins, and food energy in the form of proteins, carbohydrates and fats, vegetable oils.
A balance diet means taking the appropriate type and amount of foods and drinks to distribute nutrition and energy for maintaining tissues, body cells and organs so as to ensure normal growth and development of body.  At the same time, an improper diet leads to problems in safeguarding of brain and nervous system function, body tissues and growth and development.
